Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. Apart from her beautiful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Her professional career started as a fashion model in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to prominence. In the early 1980s, she began taking classes in acting and theater before appearing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable in which she appeared as Eden Kendell. The first film she acted in, Major League was released just two years after. Russo played Tom Berengers 'love interest. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities in the field of acting, public was enticed by her stamina. The performance she gave in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was particularly appreciated by critics, as she could not be compared to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. According to her, she was never a fan in acting. She self-imposed a long break in 2005. Her comeback was a part in Thor. Her husband's Oscar-winning movie Nightcrawler was one of her performances. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two light-hearted films in which she starred.
Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. She began in the amateur ranks, participating in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her on and later she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas is a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Invicta Fighting Championships were her first fight in professional. She was just 18 and was a winner of two fights by submission. Dana White, who was following her closely at the time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division in December 2014. She had recently turned 22. In the course of Rose's professional career, she's been through periods of extremes and lows, but every victory has been hers. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. Rose won the bout by technical knockout within 3 minutes in the initial round. This was the first ever time a woman competed to win a title in any major organization worldwide. Namajunas was able to win several fights following her win which included defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
